A cracking first session. four rods, all regulars, boated 24 bass, all off the surface. About as much fun as it gets. Max kill, and even a too big, with a magnificent 69 cm (circa 8lb) fish returned. great way to start a day.

2nd sailing, and still a struggle. Four rods. Cloud cover meant that a slightly better session than recent 2nd sailings with 6 fish landed and a couple take for tea. Mackerel feathers carefully managed sorted out the BBQ requirements.

The feathers came in handy again with a family sailing for third. 2 table bass for 3 landed, plus mackerel. Lots of smiles, revelations about how cool lure fishing is, and another 4 regulars being added to the list I hope, as I enjoyed the session immensely.

Just two sailings back to back planned for tomorrow, and then it looks as if it will be Friday before sailings again. But it isnt all doom and gloom as tide and wind suggests we might be in for some good bait fishing for bass. If guided shore fishing appeals to you at all, please text YOUR FULL NAME and the word SHORE to be added to the group where the shore fishing happens on WHATSSAPP. And its been a great year so far.
