Brighton Inshore Fishing - Catch report 18th July 2026

Fishing today was on pretty big tides, which aren't my favourite. First sailing was with 3 rods aboard, and all quite good anglers. The previous morning the last of the ebb was actually unite good. Today was more of a struggle, with just 4 bass landed, 2 for the table.

2nd sailing, I had 3 new to BIf1

Stephanie, an American living and working in the city of London, plus Mandy and her daughter Wing, down from Croydon (and actually scheduled for the 1330 sailing

This was a weird one. Despite starting a full hour into the flood, there was no current

it wasn't until the last hour we started to move. And catch. 6 bass landed, 3 killed. cuttle and scad byecatch.
