The difference 22.5 degrees can make...
That is, on a compass. Because the NE wind we started the day with, gave rise to a really nice session. David, Andy and John enjoying 12 bass landed. Max kill (6) and other tables released. Mackerel, and I nailed another tidy tub gurnard. Then we finished, and headed in for breakfast.

45 minutes later, Matt, Ian, Paul Steve and I emerged into a different world. White caps, and a short chop. The wind now had decided it was happier being ENE, and the protection of the cliffs was gone. We gave it a good go, but had to run west, where in tight it was far more fishable. But just 4 schoolies for our efforts. A shoddy session.
Thats it now for two weeks. I will be out in Portugal where I have a week with my barbel pioneers from the 2025 Portugal barbel on the fly poke, and a week with a very good friend as a little charge up before what I hope continues to be a busy year with BIF1.
