Brighton Inshore Fishing- Catch report 26th July 2025

Just the one sailing due to imminent wind, which did actually surface ahead of schedule, although as I write this has again dropped. With me Suntus and Miles, regular, and Sanjay and Terence, new to BIF1. What a poor morning for new people. Started well, a cracker for Suntus, and a few smalls, all on surface lures. But the swell arrived, stopped that fun, and it became another session of watching stacks of bass ignore the shads due to obsession with tiny fishes. Too bumpy for the whiting spots, we came in an hour early, partly because of swell, partly because of frustration.
