Brighton Inshore Fishing - Catch report 29th July 2026

2 sailings today, and of some contrast. Both with a full four rods aboard. 1st sailing, 16 bass landed. A mix of sizes but 6 killed for the table. And then 2nd sailing, a current common theme, just 2 bass landed, although both were for the table, from four rods aboard. Quite looking forward to some cloud cover and lower temperatures as promised for next week, as I suspect the super clear waters and the bright sun are a poor combination for good results in shallow waters, as they are the world over.
