Just the one sailing this morning. And after yesterdays session, only one place I wanted to be. And the fish were there. In the first 45 minutes we had max killed and were releasing quality fish. But actually, as the tide began to ebb, which is when I expected things to get really hot, I lost the fish a bit. It became a much longer pause between fish. With me, Ramazan, Kas and David. We lost a rod early doors, and although the BIF1 LAST MINUTE SPACES whatsapp group is efficient, and hour was perhaps asking too much. If you would like to be made aware of last minute cancellation spaces on BIF1, message YOUR FULL NAME and BIF to 07970 112774.

Ram and Kas fished, and caught, squid in one of the pauses. But still bass were playing. A friend of mine yesterday commented "Its a shame we dont have any big whiting lures". The thought stayed with me. I put on the 56gm Axia mighty minnow in Ayu, which is very close to a pin whiting length and profile. This then accounted for the biggest of the day. 32 bass landed, again mostly between 2 and 4lb. A really great session. Wind now until perhaps Thursday based on the current forecast.
