Brighton Inshore Fishing - Catch report 3rd August 2026

one and two thirds sailings today. First sailing, four rods and much fun. A stiff Northerly wind meant we had to stay i. tight, but that was fine as the fish were in tight this morning. And the best bet?... They only really wanted surface lures.

11 fish landed, just 3 killed but lots of missed takes from good fish and small. A lot of fun

2nd sailing, 4 rods, including young Remi, just 8 years old, but with skills. Fishing was tough, and made tougher by a stiff Easterly wind that once the flooding tide really got going kicked up a nasty white flecked sea.leaving us no choice but to return to port.

Just 2 bass landed at that point, one taken for the table. And the rest of the day
