Brighton Inshore Fishing - Catch report 3rd October 2025

Finally back out again, and hoping to pick up where I left off. But sadly, the surface fishing wasn't really happening, other than a lad on our first sailing catching his very first bass , and on the surface lure. It took a move to deeper water to take 6 bass, 4 for the table, and if course, squid.

2nd sailing, new flood, and I had to run a bit to find the fish. Finally we found some quality ones, with four killed and the same released. And the squidding we did well away from the mass of boats out on the outer manors. With no competition, 20 squid accumulated in as many minutes. Great fun.
