Just the one sailing today, with SE winds due to increase mid morning, which combined with a flooding tide would have made later sailings quite bouncy. Indeed, there was significantly more roll heading back to port than out of it.

With me this morning, Armando, Dave, Helder and Nico, all BIF1 veterans. I was a bit worried that with rockworm now finishing the last of the ebb, early flood situation we had may have meant poor results. But although the last hour was slow, with the new flood tide, the first two, on the last bit of ebb, were actually ok.

Not electric, but definitely a long way from boring. 9 bass landed. Others lost. Armando had a go on a bream rig but nothing came of it, and yet, as soon as he finished Helder got his tail bitten off his shad, a typical bream manoeuvre. A nice mix of sizes, with 5 killed and 4 released.
