Brighton Inshore Fishing - Catch report 9th August 2025

Just the one sailing before the wind came and stole away the day. Repeat customers, Alex, Marco, Mark and Tom. And I have to say a bit of a struggle. A lot less bait fish around today, and where we did find some, Horse mackerel were being a pain. There were some bass though. 4 to be precise. Normally that would be a bummer but at least 3 were for the table from that so some silver linings. The poor bassing is a theme along the entire coast as it turns out. A bit of a worry really. Lets hope they are somewhere doing something rather than having all been eaten...
