A super fast update, just to let you know we are still running...
Yesterday, just a squid trip planned
Pretty bouncy which wasnt on the forecast.
Timing planned to perfectly coincide with the siunset.
Started really well. Five squid from the first 3 drifts.
They were the last squid caught.

Today, not a squid trip, but some miscommunication meant that 2 of my crew were expecting squid. 3rd was easy going. I was restricted by strong winds to not go too far offshore as swells increase proportionally. Basically, a car crash was about to happen. Just one spot that I could think of, that hasnt fished for them so far this year, close enough to not be in the bigger swells. Also sometimes a few bass. No less than ten squid fell, plus a nice table bass and a horse mackerel. Considering the conditions, it should have been a blank... And as I type this, the forecast 25 mph winds are.... 0 mph...
BIG THANKS TO HENRY FOR THE FIRST 2 SHOTS :)
