Out with Paul this morning, a devotee of the art of flicking fluff, which made me very happy. The timing of the session was geared towards this, over the low tide period, and after the previous evenings session over similar tide, I was quite expectant.
The session started quite well, with Paul landing his first Brighton bass on a fly in quite quick order. But not as fast or as furious as I had imagined it would be, which left me scratching my head a bit. (A commercial friend saw a pod of 30 dolphins working nearby ground which might have been the issue...)
By the time we came in, we had managed double figures. But nothing big, the biggest perhaps being in the 1.5lb region. Not important though. Paul is a busy man, and to squeeze in a session on the fly before hitting the office, I think really had him buzzing, and I am confident we will see him as a regular aboard BIF1.
SOME SPACES STILL AVAILABLE FOR THIS COMING SUNDAY ( 13th August) I would love to see her busy dawn to dusk, so please come on down. Currently the forecast is suggesting MONDAY and TUESDAY also going to be very fishable.
