First sailing since 1st January, and I pushed out West. A friend has still been taking bass from the shore all the time I have been out in the Algarve (on lures!). I pushed to my furthest mark west, with the intention of covering lots of spots all the way back to the marina, with the flooding tide. It started so well. A bass, very early on. And it finished so badly. That bass was the only fish of the three hour session with John and Ross very patient for their time. Even the plaice wouldnt play. I really couldnt have got it more wrong... The problem with being off the pulse for so long.
