First sailing and a family affair. Peter and his brother David (David being new to fishing) with the whole boat for plenty of space for his tuition. Not that he needed it as he was a good listener and fairly nailed what was required pretty quickly. To the point he had 3 fish before Peter got into gear. Fish everywhere but hard to temp as they are very preoccupied with tiny stuff. Fly rod would actually be the most productive method just now. As a result just 7 landed, 2 taken for the table.

Next up, another family affair. Jonny and his very bright young lad Theo were on board with me. Great rod skills, first time he was out with me bass were hard to find, and the session was saved with some plaice. This time, with the ebbing tide, fish were having it. 16 landed, 3 taken for the table. Theo also really wanted to catch a cuttle. One drop with the cuttle rig was all it took and a large boar was landed.

Third and final sailing. I had Dave and Derek, and John and Greg on board. It started so well. A fish on the demo cast and pretty much 9 fish on the trot with 3 killed. And then the tide began to flood more strongly, and took everything away. final tally, 12 landed, 3 killed.
