Brighton Inshore Fishing - catch report 30th May 2026

Another report of hardship. with signs of recovery creeping in towards the end of the 3rd sailing. Bait fish still vanished and pretty much everything vanished with them. 1st 2 sailings producing very little. A few small bass. A wrasse. But not the standard we hunt for. 3rd sailing, I managed to postpone a father and son, as an 8 year old must catch. This left me with Aiden, never fished before, and Danielle, not fished for 3 years

And finally, some shoals of Brit were marking again. And eventually, we found some bass hitting them

only 4 landed, one killed. plus a bonus pollack. But importantly, food is back. Combined with some video sent by one of my guys of other stuff, I'm already looking forward to what looks to be the only sailing next week, Monday mornings 0500, which still has 2 spaces remaining.
